Dark of the Earth opens with a puzzling accident that has left Johnny in a coma from which he may not recover. Percy invites the suspects to Rhinebeck for a long weekend (along with friends and family) to investigate further only to discover that he may have brought killers into his home and he could be next. To find out what happened, Percy must come up with a way to release Johnny from his coma, even if that means venturing into the world of shamanic and demonic territory from which neither man may return. Dark of the Earth explores deep friendship, insanity, the heavy costs of revenge, and love that can save or destroy.
